10News WTSP and Feeding Tampa Bay are teaming up to feed needy families this summer. As many as 250,000 children (1 in 4) in our area suffer from hunger, and the problem is especially critical during the summer months when they do not have access to meals at school.
Stowers Elementary is proud to help in the fight against hunger by hosting a Cereal for Summer Food Drive at our school.
Stowers has been awarded the “Best School” Award for 2016 & 2017 for donating more breakfast items than any other school in the surrounding 10 counties!
What can I donate?
Dry cereal – boxes or bags (Think Nutritious!)
Cereal/Breakfast Bars
Pop Tarts
Oatmeal
